Prithvi Dinesh Chandra

Prithvi (he/him) is an archivist who specializes in digital preservation, metadata strategy, and equitable access across museum, library, and archival collections. He has worked across a range of institutions including New York Historical, LACMA, NYU Libraries, and the Natural History Museum of LA County. He received an M.A. in Archives & Public History (Archives Concentration) from New York University, and a B.A. from Occidental College (History and Diplomacy & World Affairs double-major). Prithvi is based in NYC and open to work.

When he is not wading around in metadata, Prithvi volunteers at XFR Collective, a non-profit organization that works towards lowering the barriers to preserving at-risk audiovisual media. In his free time, you can find him bouldering at the local climbing gym, playing football (as in futbol), or hanging out with his cat, Dirt.
